Mr Kipling first launched his range of 'exceedingly good' cakes back in 1967. In just nine years the company became brand leader in the cake market - a position it still holds today.
As a nation, we spend over £1.2 billion a year on pre-packed cakes. Nearly 130 million packs of those are Mr Kipling varieties, which you'll find in 50% of UK households. Over 220,000 of our most famous cake, the Cherry Bakewell, are consumed every day!
With a range of slices, pies, tarts, mini cakes and cake bars, there's something for everyone, whatever the occasion - all maintaining the Mr Kipling tradition of high-quality ingredients for a deliciously tasty treat.
Responding to demand, Mr Kipling removed artificial colours and flavours from the complete range. The Mr Kipling 'Delightful' range also offers 'lighter' options - like Lemon, Chocolate and Apple Slices with 10% less fat, and Cherry Bakewells with 30% less fat than standard products.
Mr Kipling cakes are even exported to America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Canada and the Middle East.
